The German Marine Research Alliance (DAM) and the German Marine Research Consortium (KDM) have officially completed their merger. The new association will continue the activities of both organizations under the name German Marine Research Alliance.
ForWind board member Torsten Schlurmann, Managing Director of the Ludwig-Franzius-Institute for Hydraulic, Estuarine and Coastal Engineering (LuFI) at Leibniz Universität Hannover and the Coastal Research Center, was elected to the five-member board of the new DAM.
ForWind congratulates and looks forward to working with the combined marine research community – especially with regard to current and future research projects in the field of offshore wind energy.
